The Québec F18 circuit, which includes 5 races in different regions, is seeing new members join the party! Average participation has increased by 2 boats, and the trend looks set to continue next summer. The atmosphere remains totally friendly and cooperative, despite the tight competition!
New this year, the circuit passed through the Sansoucy Sailing Club on Lake of Two Mountains to kick off the season. The event was a great success despite the weather, which forced the cancellation of the music show.
The season then continued with races in Québec City, Carleton-sur-Mer, Lac-Brome and came to a close at Sextant Marine in Missisquoi Bay. The championship was decided in the final race of the season, with just one point separating the RBR Flight School crew, Maxime Loiselle and Patrick Caux, from the Team Pilon St-Louis crew, Olivier Pilon and Bastien Mony/ Nancy Dion and Guillaume St-Louis.
As a bonus this year, 11 Quebecers took part in the North American championships, and there are currently 3 Québec sailors in Saint-Barth for the Catacup! We wish them the best of luck
